Styling your hallway
Go bold in the hallway
The hallway is a transitional space — people move through it rather than sitting in it for hours. This makes it the ideal place for a pattern or colourway you might find exhausting in a living room. A deep botanical, a striking geometric, or a full mural: the hallway can take it.
The long wall
In most hallways, paper the long wall and paint the others. The long wall is what you see from the door and from the bottom of the stairs — it's the canvas. The short end walls in a deep complementary tone give the space a finished, considered quality.
Durability matters
